Meet the Preferred Dental Care team

Dr. Shilpa Trivedi

Dr. Trivedi is an invaluable member of the team at Preferred Dental Care. Dr. Trivedi excels in all aspects of dentistry and has been a respected general and prosthetic dentist at PDC for over 15 years.

She graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1990. Dr. Trivedi combined her advanced education and state-of-the-art technology at Preferred Dental Care to offer the highest level of oral care. Her goal is to eradicate dental disease from the society by providing healthy teeth and gums for a lifetime.

She continues to keep herself abreast of any advances in the field of dentistry and updates her skills in order to provide excellent care.

She believes that a one-on-one approach helps not only achieve wonderful esthetic results, but also compassionately assists those with varying concerns about matters of longevity, health, and fears about dentistry.

Dr. Shilpa Trivedi is a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and The New York State Dental Society. She is very actively affiliated and working shoulder to shoulder with various human rights organizations, such as The Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights, Youth for Human Rights, The Second Chance Program and The Way to Happiness Foundation just to mention a few.

Dr. Linda Lee (Choi)

Dr. Choi is an esteemed general dentist at Preferred Dental Care. She graduated from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2000 and did her general practice residency at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers.

Her mission is to help patients get a healthy and beautiful smile while making sure they are comfortable with the process. Her aim is to provide each patient with the highest level of dental care.

Dr. Choi excels in all aspects of dentistry and has a strong interest in Invisalign. Dr. Choi has been certified as an Invisalign provider since 2004.

She has worked in the LIC Dental office for 3 years and has been with Preferred Dental Care since 2005.

Dr. Choi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is actively affiliated with the AGD.

In her free time, Dr. Choi likes to travel on medical and dental mission trips. She has traveled to Costa Rica twice and to Kenya thrice to provide dental and medical assistance to the needy. In the future she would like to visit as many countries as she can with a mission to provide healthy teeth and gums for a lifetime and also to give medical and dental care to those who cannot afford it.

Dr. Priya Patel

Dr. Patel is an innovative general dentist at Preferred Dental Care. Her approach to patients is very gentle and caring. Dr. Patel’s philosophy is to educate patients about healthy teeth and gums while delivering the best possible dental care.

Dr. Patel is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After completing her general practice residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Cornell for a year, she began her practice of general dentistry.

Dr. Patel is a member of American Dental Association. Anyone who has been treated by Dr. Priya Patel can appreciate her honesty, wit, and strong sense of family values. She makes the trip to the dentist worthwhile!

Besides creating beautiful smiles at Preferred Dental Care, Dr. Patel also enjoys traveling.

We also feature a completely digital office. From the paperwork in our reception area to before-and-after photography, we’re all about creating the most modern and efficient office possible.
